SWC 1st Activity Day..

Oh, i received a message..
Don't know who is the person sending me this..
The message stated there will be a meeting for all departments on 10.30am at college.. Attendance is compulsary..
Let me see.. Oh, gosh! The meeting time clash with my lecture class schedule.. How? No choice.. Lecture class still can skip.. Furthermore, attendance for my SWC departments is compulsary.. So, i just didn't consider too much as i am for sure needed attending the meeting..

The next day, normally my lecture class start on 10am.. But, i am not going for it.. Moreover, my meeting start on 10.30am.. So, i woke up a bit late.. too tired recently..! almost missed the train, luckily i got into it.. i sms huey ching.. Think so she had arrived to college.. I wondering where is the venue for our meeting.. No idea.. i asked her.. She do not know.. No one else knew also.. The message that we all received just stated 'at college'. College so wide and big, where should we gather? Finally, i arrived. But, i still late for 10 minutes.. Fortunately, my friend kept waiting for me while figure out the venue was at college hall. So, few of us just walk together. All of us keep questioning what will happening this time.. gathering at college hall.. all departments as well..

Until we reached outside of college hall.. From far, we just saw SWC ( Students Welfare Committee ) Chairperson for SBS ( School of Business Studies ) - John Neai standing and waiting for us outside.. I still didn't stand get a chance got to know more about him yet.. He told us to meet with our head of department and carry out a task given.. We feel weird.. What tasks will be given?.. Our departments is P & PR.. So, H.O.D for sure is Pooi Ji.. a sweet and nice girl senior.. very polite.. even though i only met her once. But, she definitely give me a very deep nice impression.. Pooi Ji didn't blame for us that why we're late.. as she saw we all sweating every parts of our bodies.. She understand.. She just straight away gather us and find a place to make discussion about our task for it.. There only we being informed that each departments have to create a theme, theme colour and taglines for their own departments.. On that moment, we all just keep silent... As we all just rush to come, my mind just still blank.. even i hope i can really suggest something... useful.. but i couldn't get anything from my mind.. Pooi Ji asked why we all just so silent, any idea? we all really struggle to think out a nice theme.. Pooi Ji brief us actually P & PR stands for Publicity & Public Relationship.. There only i know it, so shameful..! I did think about some idea like ' Early Bird definitely is you! ' .. But, normally the theme is only stand with one or two words.. I couldn't any bombastic words.. Some of them suggested used 'Latin' words.. Some just searched words from Electronic Dictionary or handphone.. Everyone of us really squeeze our brain for it! But, it seems like we were running out of idea..

Suddenly, we didn't realise that there was actually a time limit for it.. John just told us that we only had 5 minutes left.. That time was so shocked and turned to stress.. still no much great and creativity idea.. no theme decided yet.. what to do? we were thinking hardly as time passed along fast too.. John seems waiting unpatiently as it seems none departments was done with the task.. He just said any department that last gather at front will present first.. My godness.. We ain't prepare for it yet..! have to do presentation in front of them, no way! In that moment, we really had no choice left but just use idea that we had.. We still the last departments to check in, but we request to be the last to present as everything mess up now.. Our request had approve, but there will be punishment.. We really no time think about that punishment but just agree.. One of our committee suggested create our theme related to animals.. i really no view.. They stay aside to discuss as we can't keep along because we need to concentrate on others departments presentation also, so quit from the discussion already.. We realised that others departments idea are not bad and they seems very spiritual and passion about it.. Really convince me..

Finally, it was almost time for us.. I asked them have they decided and what should we said.. They decided that our theme is Chameleon, theme colour is Green and taglines is 'I got you, you got me'.. When i heard it, it totally disagree bout it.. especially the theme colour and taglines.. We'r P & PR department.. Green is not suit for us as we should pick a bright and sharp colour to represent it cause our departments is active and passion.. I suggested maroon or orange.. But, that time better i shut up than interrupt their discussion.. The taglines is ... i really speechless.. it can ended as 'I got you, you got me.. We're happy family'.. Everyone else just laugh.. ? So, no point i argue with them as better than we had nothing even i think this was not so good.. We got out.. Others are blur.. No idea what they should said.. All of our committee members seems quiet.. So, i just brave up myself and describe why we choose this theme even though i really don't know how the person got this idea and it related with our department.. Once i talk, the person only step out and said.. i still keep telling my point of view.. She keep doing the same.. I assumed she thought that i'm interrupt her presentation.. I was no wrong, i guess.. But it just seems we had a fight for the priority to talk on this presentation.. Not a good start for our department even our department is the ones had most members.. Presentation finished.. Punishments just get started.. What they will ask us to do, all of us just make a wild guess, it surely will not be an easy one.. And it is truth.. They didn't let us off easily.. Some suggested us dance.. the tough one.. One of the tt nite finalist shows us the demo.. Oh, no! We really don't know how to do.. He shows another style.. not so tough but funny stuffs.. All of us just so shameful to act so.. But if anyone of us don't do it, have to present solo later.. God, help me.. We just struggling doing it.. Luckily, no one recorded it.. We passed the impossible mission.. with unhappy faces and mood.. back to our seats.. But, atleast we do shows our teamworks in front.. make an applause to ourself..

Later, we all had joined an interact games.. it's was like passing and convey the message through body language only.. When the time i perform it, i really no idea what's it, thought it was related with Ogawa products.. Every of us laugh loudly.. But my friend, Amanda who will make the last guess.. answer correctly..! the answer was 'belly dance'.. and she is absolute correct.. bet her smart, like that also know.. Every others department also got it correct, include us.. So, happy smile and expression back to our face..

After that, continue our tasks, we have been arrange to tidy up SWC room.. We all went there together even some already missing cause had to rush back for attending their class.. So, when we get there, all oo nite committee members were having meeting there, so we unable to do anything but wait them to finish.. So, we decided go have lunch together.. Unfortunately, once we reached club house, it was packs and full with people.. no seats left.. So, they decided to take away their food.. But due to lack of time as i and huey ching will have to attend tutorial class on 1pm.. So, we unable to help them out to clean the room and we left them just like that by giving them a 'Gambateh' hug.. Both of us met up with our classmates and continue had lunch there.. Scare again as later my group - 'Buzzies' will have presentation for assignment later.. Gosh! Why we so busy until .... That day, i and huey ching didn't manage to go and help them out.. Hopely they all will done it well and i know they are..

This first activity day, i realised a lot of things.. even i disagree of someone opinion or idea, i didn't voice up straight away as i shouldn't mess up the whole situation but convince myself to figure out a way to succeed the idea.. Learnt what's more important on the moment, not argue but support it.. I learnt to do so and i bet i did it well.. For sure sometimes they will be disagree on our view, but learn to take it easy is better...! if you had great suggestion, be brave to voice up.. but not hide it and blame people not to used your idea.. For sure you will dislike a people through his/ her attitude and behaviour, but i learnt to be more mature.. be silent and just believe what you believe.. You need not agree anything just because majorities doing so but you learnt to follow and do your best.. I claim i did it!! Because the leader can be only one, but not everyone.. So, cheer up!!.. Think of a positive way, if without the person 'great' idea, i guess so we still failed to done the presentation.. Thanks to the person too..! even i disagree..
I guess this is the first step to take in order to be a wise leader in future.. I know i desire it more than other people and i definitely aim for the post of SWC chairperson if possible.. Cause i believe i had the guts and would handle it well.. just i need to learnt more, to be rational, to enchance my EQ level.. as this all are the element to determine whether are you a sucessful leader or not..!

I'm on my way to achieve my aim..
